A fan site dedicated to As the World Turns’ Luke Snyder and Dr Reid Oliver (a.k.a. LuRe/Ruke) and their quirky, endearing, and captivating romance. If these two lovely boys are not your cup of tea, please visit elsewhere – all comments will be moderated before publication. I’m pleased to report that to date I have only had to reject one comment, and that was because under no circumstances will homophobia be tolerated or propagated on this site.
While the original goal of this site was to focus on the characters and their relationship, as the show has ended and I’ve been sucked into this fandom, it’s naturally evolved to include news about the amazing actors, Eric Sheffer Stevens and Van Hansis. Though comments are very much welcomed and encouraged, if you are interested in a wonderfully embracing, intelligent, and engaging online LuRe community several already exist, so I’m not going to reinvent the wheel. Please check out the Luke and Reid Online, the lure_atwt LiveJournal community, and the Reid Oliver Facebook page.
My main goal in creating this is to create a repository for Luke and Reid reference materials, especially a definitive episode guide.
But along with being a repository, this is also still a major labor of love and a personal blog, so I’ll also be consolidating all my LuRe related media (postcards, wallpapers, fanvids and fanfic) and personal episode reviews and thoughts here as well. Those of you who know me from the Luke and Reid board will know that I have a tendency to be….um…verbose?
So if you find me to be boring or self-important, please just don’t bother reading – or let me know (politely, please) in the comments. If, OTOH, you just think I’m misguided or misinformed (after all, I’m a straight girl blogging about gay romance) – please let me know – this has been a personal journey for me, and I’m not to proud to stop and accept directions!

Nice job on dedicating this website to Luke/Reid. I never watched the complete episodes when ATWT was on(yeah, I know shame on me..)but, have been watching them on youtube.(not complete episodes but,…)I often wonder if Reid wouldn’t have been so careless and, been a little more patient(yes, patience isn’t his strong point) he would have gotten to “Bay City” in plenty of time to get the heart. But, I do miss this soap.
